According to initial reports from Hong Kong authorities, an AirACT cargo 747 veered off the runway while landing, striking a ground vehicle and going over the sea wall. The aircraft came to rest in the water with its tail detached. The accident happened at 19:53 UTC on 19 October (03:53 local time, 20 Oct). Finnair is canceling flights operated by a subset of its A320 family fleet this week for additional inspections. The problem? The seats are clean.Specifically, Finnair says that eight of its 15 Airbus A321s require inspections because the seat covers on board were cleaned with water.
