In late September, Lufthansa unveiled a special 100th anniversary livery on one of its new 787s. The livery features a deep blue background with a white crane across the fuselage that blends into the wings. On the left side of the fuselage is painted a large “100,” and on the right side, “1926-2026,” to mark the airline’s centenary.
This week, the airline announced that it would feature this special livery on not one, but six aircraft. In addition to the already painted Boeing 787-9, Lufthansa will also paint an Airbus A320neo, A350-900, A350-1000, A380, and Boeing 747-8I.
